Thomas H. Jones

Thomas H. Jones, 56, of Sweet Root Road, Bedford, died Sunday, July 21, 2013 at his residence. He was born on April 17, 1957, in Bedford, a son of the late Henry G. and Wilda P. (Hook) Jones. On December 17, 1988, in Roaring Spring, he married Brenda Albright who survives along with three brothers: Jim Cogan and wife Sherry of Rainsburg, Tim Jones and wife Freda  of Fredericksburg, VA, Kevin Jones and wife Roxanne of Bedford, three sisters; Jackie Diehl and companion Bob of New Baltimore, Ruby  Jones of SC,  and Barb Harold and husband Jack of Pineville, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death a brother Jimmy Jones and a sister Tina Robinson.

Tom was a member of the Yeager Memorial Lutheran Church.  He was a member for the Marine Corps League of Bedford County and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.  in the Chapel at  Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Jenny Barnes officiating Burial At Bedford County Memorial Park, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
