Thomas A. Farber 75, formerly of Bedford and New York passed away on New Years Day after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Tom was the son of the late R. Armstrong and Marie (Guyer) Farber. He is survived by his sister Vicki Finkenbinder and husband Bob of Carlisle, and cousins in Delaware and Connecticut.
Tom attended Bedford High School and later the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. City life was something Tom enjoyed and eventually moved to NYC, where he could attend museums, art galleries, Broadway plays, and the theatre. Tom worked at the World Trade Center before returning to Bedford. Tom always loved music and didn’t live anywhere he couldn’t have his elaborate stereo system. He was a self-taught computer nerd. He was raised in the Lutheran faith, and his belief in God was a strong presence in his life. May the angels welcome him into heaven and may God bless him and grant him eternal life in the hour of the Lord.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial at Bedford Cemetery. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
