Thelma J. Llewellyn 83 of Centennial Road, Bedford died Saturday March 3, 2007 at the New Hope Assisted Living Home in Cumberland. She was born June 13, 1923 in Frostburg, MD, daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah (Metz) Morgan. On December 15, 1942 in Frostburg she married Charles L. Llewellyn and he preceded her in death on August 5, 1989. She is survived by a daughter Paula Mae wife of Jack Ternent of Lonaconing, MD and a son Louis McKee Llewellyn and wife Betty of Friends Cove, two grandsons: Chuck and Scott Ternent, one step grandson: Ted Kinsall, two great grandsons: Dawson and Garrett Ternent and two step great grandchildren: Elizabeth and Matthew Kinsall, one sister Anna wife of J. H. Clark of Richmond, VA and a brother William Morgan and wife Opel of Fritch, TX. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Irvin, Raymond and Jack Morgan and a sister Peggy Schroyer.
Mrs. Llewellyn was a member of the Trans Run United Methodist Church. She worked in Bedford with the American Cancer Socity and was well know for her cake decorating.
Funeral services: Wednesday 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home with Rev. Phyllis Hunter and Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating. Burial in the Woods Church Cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
