Terry L. Rogers

Terry L. Rogers, 59 of Scranton Road, Manns Choice, died early Tuesday morning, September 21, 2010 at Valley View Nursing Home in Altoona.  She was born May 16, 1951 in Sewickley, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Anna Mae (Dodson) Matovich.  On September 15, 2001, in Bedford, she married Calvin M. Rogers.  Along with her husband, she is survived by three step-children: Charles Rogers and wife Lisa of Chesterfield, VA, Calvin Rogers Jr. and wife Ann of Millville, NJ, and Kathleen Winter of Newport News, VA and numerous step-grand and step-great grand children.  Also surviving is a brother Joseph E. Matovich Jr. of Gurnee, IL, two sisters; Yvonne Falkner of Jupiter Beach, FL, and Maryann Gauther of Buffalo NY.  She was preceded in death by a son, William Daniel Vohwinkle, a brother Andrew R. Matovich,  twin sister; Sherry Lynn Collings and Rose Marie Matovich.

Mrs. Rogers had worked as a bartender and waitress at the Golden Eagle Restaurant in Bedford.  She was a member of the Bedford American Legion Aux. and enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

Funeral services:   Saturday, September, 25, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev.
