Steven M. Mowery

Steven M. Mowery, 17 of Swabby Lane, Bedford, died Monday evening, August 17, 2009 on Valley Road as a result of an automobile accident. He was born April 4, 1992 in Altoona, son of Steven D. Mowery and Linda K. (Kesner) Lee and Step-father Gary Lee of Bedford. He is survived by a brother Shelby Musselman married to the former Amanda Mock of Alum Bank, a sister Jennifer Yeagle and fiancé Ryan Caton of Schellsburg, a nephew Dylan and niece Madison. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Jenny Kesner and his paternal grandmother, Arlene Jones.
Steven was a senior at Chestnut Ridge High School, and was a member of the Chestnut Ridge Independent Fellowship Church. He worked at Slick’s Ivy Stone Restaurant, and previously worked at Blue Knob Ski Resort. He loved spending time with his friends and his niece and nephew.
Funeral Service: Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Daniel Oldham officiating. Burial in Bedford Cemetery.
