Sophia E. DeMoss

Sophia Eleanor DeMoss, 79, of Bedford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2025.

Born on February 17, 1946, in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, Sophie lived a life marked by devotion to her family, kindness of spirit, and a joyful appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles DeMoss, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage.

Sophie is lovingly remembered by her children, Melissa Territo and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Territo, and Charles DeMoss Jr. and his wife Kristina DeMoss. She was a proud grandmother to Dr. Whitney Territo, Dr. Chelsea Territo, and Cody DeMoss, and great-grandmother to Liam DeMoss and Ella DeMoss.

Those who knew Sophie will remember her deep love for her family, her fondness for dachshunds, and her enthusiasm for NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Sophie’s life was one of love, laughter, and dedication to those she held dear. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
