Sondra G. O’Brien, 76, of Main Street, Roaring Spring, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Nason Hospital. She was born on March 19, 1938, in Bedford, a daughter of the late Clifton M. and Nellie (Warmuth) Weyant. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly, wife of Steven Patten, of Manns Choice, two sons: Tracy O’Brien, of Bedford, and John O’Brien, of Osterburg; six grandchildren: Brian, Myranda, Xiomara, JoDee, Janelle, and Nativa; one great-grandchild, Brock; and a sister, Rose widow of James Miller, of Bedford. She was preceded in death by a son, Chris, and a brother Richard Weyant.
She worked as a nurses aid at various places including the County Home in Bedford, and also at Darlene’s in Claysburg. She enjoyed spending time doing arts and crafts.
