Shelby "Jane" Howsare

June 1, 1937 — April 21, 2007

Shelby “Jane” Howsare 69 of Teaberry Road, Bedford died, Saturday morning April 21, 2007 at her home.  She was born June 1, 1937 in McKee, daughter of the late Adam G. and Rachel (Lewis) Gonsman.  On November 12, 1961 in Cumberland, MD she married Emory “Pete” Howsare and he survives along with the following children: Frog Howsare and wife Kerry of Fishertown, Tonya wife of DaveChamplin, Steve Howsare both of Kentucky, Penny wife of Blair Dively of  New Enterprise, Karen Lousch of Enola and Willard Clark of Bedford, 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: George Gonsman of  Florida, John Gonsman and wife Elsie of Claysburg, Grace Leibfreid of  Virginia, Fred Gonsman and wife Judy of Bedford, Dave Gonsman and wife Gloria of Claysburg, Joe Gonsman and wife Valarie of North Carolina, Sara wife of  Phil Romeo of Texas,  Charlie Gonsman and wife Evelyn of  Six Mile Run.

Mrs. Howsare was a 1955 graduate of Robert P. Smith High School.  She loved flowers and gardening, doing crafts and sewing.

Memorial Services: Monday 11:00 am in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Vaughn Loose officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. There will be no visitation.  Sign our online guest book at www.berkebilefuneralhome, com.
