Sharon Kay (Steed) Diehl

Sharon Kay Diehl, 82, of Bedford, died on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard. She was born on December 26, 1940 in Everett, a daughter of the late Cloud and Erma (Keller) Steed. On July 5, 1959 at the Everett Lutheran Church, she married James "Larry" Diehl who survives along with the following family: three sons, Craig Diehl and wife Bonnie of Roaring Springs, Brent Diehl and wife Tammy of Bedford, Gary Diehl and wife Susan of Claysburg; six grandchildren:  Gavin, Brad, Lukas, Alex, Sabrina, and Jessica; eleven great-grandchildren: a sister-in-law Carol Steed, of Everett; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Monte Steed.

Sharon graduated from Everett High School in 1958.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Sharon enjoyed playing golf, Pinochle, and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
