Sarah E. Price

Sarah Elizabeth Price, 87, of Bel Air, MD, formerly of Bedford, died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Autumn Assisted Living in Bel Air, MD.  She was born on May 1, 1924, in Bedford, a daughter, of the late Percy W. and Ruth (Hunt) Smith.  She was the wife of William Asbury Price, her husband of 65 years who preceded her in death on March 2, 2011.  She is survived by two sons, William Paul Price, and wife Judy, of Joppa, MD, Michael Wayne Price, and wife Donna, of Hampstead, MD, five grandchildren; Candice Price of Joppa, MD,  Kristie Price of Chicago, IL,  Christopher Price of Silver Run, MD, Nicholas Price of Hanover, and Keith Price of Hampstead, MD,  and one great granddaughter, Savannah Price.  She was preceded in death by three brothers:  Jim, Don and John Smih, and one sister Margaret Wilson.

She was a member of Bedford Road United Methodist Church in Cumberland, MD.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with the Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Tuesday from  6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.  Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
