Sandra Lee (Holsopple) Goodman

Sandra Lee Goodman, 77, of Bedford, PA, died on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Sandra was born on August 13, 1947, in Everett, PA. She was the daughter of the late Harold G. Holsopple and the late Evelyn L. (Boore) Holsopple Zeller, and was honored to have Dr. William B. Zeller as her step father. On June 15, 1968, she married Richard E. Goodman in Bedford, PA. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; her son Col Richard E. Goodman II and his wife MaryBeth of Eagle River, AK; her son Dr. Todd W. Goodman and his wife Catherine of Midland, PA; and her four grandchildren Richard E. Goodman III, Samantha J. Goodman, Emmerson T. Goodman and his wife Samantha M. (Saunier) Goodman, and Foster N. Goodman.

Sandra was a member of the Bedford Methodist Church and was a 1965 graduate of Bedford High School. She worked at Hartley Bank in Bedford, as well as for the Bedford Area School District as a cook. She also worked for Wal-Mart and as the Snake Spring Twp. Auditor. Sandra was a member, treasurer, and four-time Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Daughter’s of the American Revolution, Military Mothers and Friends, Woman’s Club President GFWC, and was named PSAR Volunteer of the Year in 2023.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, PA, with Jim Miller officiating.
