Samuel R. Howsare

Samuel R. Howsare 69, of Bedford, died Friday, November 30, 2018 at his residence.  He was born on February 2, 1949 in Baltimore, MD a son of the late Floyd J. and Laura G. (Boring) Howsare.  He is survived by a son, Sam R. Howsare and wife Kimberly of Hyndman; a granddaughter Samantha Howsare; two great-grandchildren: Gracelynn and Xander; and two brothers: Mike Howsare, of New Cumberland, and Tim Howsare and wife Linda, of Rainsburg.  He was preceded in death by three brothers: Tom, Joe, and Pete Howsare.

Sam was a member of the Fort Bedford VFW Post 7527, and the Bedford American Legion Post 113.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and keeping to himself while living out in Sweet Root.
