Sally Howsare, 74, of Alum Bank, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born on April 15, 1934 in Bedford, a daughter of the late John W. and Mary B. (Berckhemer) Snell. On September 8, 1972 in Cumberland, MD She married Charles Howsare who survives along with the following family a daughter, Christian wife of Jack Thacker of Clearwater, Fl, a daughter, Melisa Nave of Pittsburgh, a son, Ronald Nave, of Arkansas, three grandchildren Shannon and Jason Thacker, and Kevin Howsare, eight great grandchildren, and two sisters Dotty Quirk and Mary Apple. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda.
Mrs. Howsare enjoyed putting puzzles together, playing bingo, fishing, and watching politics on television
Funeral Services: Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with the Rev. Lloyd Abbott officiating.
