Ryan Ray Habinyak, 40, of Stoney Lane, Bedford, died Monday, September 29, 2014. He was born on April 6, 1974, in Windber, a son of Robert E. Habinyak, and Rosemarie (Ickes) Stiffler. He is survived by his father, Robert E. Habinyak and wife Paula of Martisnburg; mother, Rosemarie Stiffler widow Irvin of Bedford; two children: Gavin Wade and Jocelyn Marie Habinyak, both of Bedford; a brother, Robert N. Habinyak, and wife MeChelle Marie, of O'Fallon, IL; and two nieces, Heather Nicole and Amber Shayla Habinyak both of O'Fallon, IL.
Ryan was affiliated with the Cross Roads Bible Church. He obtained an Associate’s Degree in Forestry from the Alleghany College of Maryland, and worked as a machinist at Kennametal. He was a member of the Bedford Elks Lodge #1707, Bedford Moose Lodge #480, and the Bedford Masonic Lodge #320, and Toast Masters. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, riding four-wheelers with his son and daughter, and his dog Lucy. His children were his number one hobby. Ryan was always there to help someone and always believed, "If you help enough people get what they want, you will get everything you want."
Friends will be received on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. The service will be held in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Mark Dillow officiating. Burial will be Private. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
