Ruth Ellen (Constable) Tew

Ruth Ellen Tew 65, of Bedford, died Friday, January 26, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on April 21, 1958 in Johnstown a daughter of the late Walter J. and Fern Katherine (Wertz) Constable Sr.  On August 21, 1977 in Bedford, she married Fred T. Tew who preceded her in death on December 20, 2017.  She is survived by two sons: James Tew and Jacob Tew, both of Bedford; a granddaughter Violet; six siblings: Walter J. Constable Jr., John H. Constable, Sandra A. Constable, Robert L. Constable, all of Johnstown, Peggy Lou Bowser widow of Gary, of Alum Bank, and Edward D. Constable, of South Carolina; two step sons: Donnie Tew and companion Johnna, of Everett and Gary Tew, of Bedford; and three step-grandchildren: Devin, Katlyn, & Kody.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
