Ruth B. (Biddle) Wilson

Ruth B. Wilson 94, of Bedford, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Carrol’s Rest Home.  She was born on December 22, 1923 in Bedford, a daughter of the late R. Orin and Ethel (Moore) Biddle.  On August 5, 1942 she married Kenneth R. Wilson who preceded her in death.  She is survived by a sister-in-law Lillian Biddle, of Dunedin, FL and the following nieces and nephews: Kristine Wertz, Keith Landis, Kim Landis, Carolyn Robinson, Mike Biddle, and Juli Mcdougall.  She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen R. Wilson, a daughter, Cynthia Lins, a brother, Charles Biddle, and two sisters: Dorothy Lehman, and Binnie Landis.

Ruth was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  She retired from the Bedford Area School District, and also worked for the Bedford County Courthouse.  Alongside Betty Diehl, they volunteered their time assisting the Bedford County Humane Society to relocate pets into new homes.
