Rosemary M. Hawley

Rosemary M. Hawley, 72, of Egolf Road  Bedford, died Monday, December 11, 2006 at Shadyside Hospital, in Pittsburgh.  She was born on June 9, 1934 in Blue Ridge Summit,  A daughter of the late David E.and Mary (O'Toole) Fitz. On July 21, 1956 she married the Sherwood B. Hawley, and he preceded her in death on July 27, 1993.  She is survived by a son, David B. married to the former Karen Duke of Chapel Hill, NC, a daughter, Susan M. wife of Dwayne Stahle of Brogue, and a Sister, Honore wife of Jack Kendle of Del.  she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

She was a member of Friends Cove United Church of Christ.  She was on the Board of Directors for Breezewood Trucker/Traveler Ministry. She retired in 1995 from Bedford Hospital as a Laboratory Technician.

Memorial Services Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 11:00 AM from Friends Cove United Church of Christ with the Rev. Paul E. Claycomb officiating.  Burial in Bedford County Memorial Park.  There will be no visitation.  Arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Bedford County, 1108 Lutzville Road, Everett, Pa. 15537.or Breezewood Truck/Traveler Ministry, P.
