Rose E. Miller

Rose E. Miller, 83 of Warmuth Lane, Bedford died Monday, December 14, 2015 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home.  She was born on June 30, 1932, in Bedford a daughter of the late Clifton and Nellie (Warmuth) Weyant.  On May 30, 1949 in Winchester, VA she married James R. Miller who preceded her in death on January 7, 1998.  She is survived by a son Steve D. Miller, married to the former Kimberly S. Rice of Bedford; two grandchildren: Crystal Predix, and husband Jason, and Tiffney Tice and husband Garrett all of Bedford; and three great-grandchildren: Brett, Kylie, and Kinsley.  She was preceded in death by three sons: Ivan, Allen, and Mearle Miller; a brother Richard Weyant, and a sister Sandra O’Brien.

Rose was a waitress for the Bedford Elks, and bartended and managed the Bedford Moose Lodge.  She and her husband also owned and operated their own trucking company, and she had her own beauty shop.   She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Jeff Ling, officiating.  Burial will be private.  Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com
