Ronald J. Wright 74 of Hall Street, Bedford, PA died Thursday morning, January 31, 2008 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1933 in East Stroudsburg, son of the late Howard and Harriet (Kennedy) Wright. On March 5, 1955 in East Stroudsburg he married Barbara Vogt and she survives along with three children: Randall Wright married to the former Carol Roberts of Hershey, Rhonda Wife of Larry Bunting of East Stroudsburg, Ross Wright married to the former Patty Brown of Powell, Ohio, also three grandchildren: Kelly, Parker and Katie Wright, three great grandchildren: Nicholas and Brittany Bunting and Jennifer Brown, a brother Henry Harris of East Stroudsburg and Darlene wife of Thomas Lee of Stroudsburg. He was preceded in death by his step-father Henry Harris Sr.
Mr. Wright was a member of the Bedford United Methodist Church and retired in 1994 from Met-Ed Electric Company.
Memorial services: Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM from the Bedford United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to the Bedford United Methodist Church 132 E. John St., Bedford PA in his memory. Arrangements are by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
