Ronald R. Romeo

Ronald R. Romeo, 58 of Bedford, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his residence.  He was born on April 16, 1957 in St. Charles, MO a son of the late Salvatore and Martha (Knoblauch) Romeo.  On May 23, 1981 in Elk Grove, IL he married Wendy (Gilbert) Romeo who survives along with the following family: two daughters, Shannon E. Romeo wife of Zachary J. O’Shurak, of Pittsburgh, and Leta L. Rheaume and husband David, of Aldie, VA; and a son, Michael R. Romeo, of Bedford; two grandchildren: Zoey M. O’Shurak, and Cameron T. Rheaume; three sisters: Roseanne Trupiano, Jean Romeo, and Anita Holtkamp, and two brothers, David Romeo and wife Candy, and John Romeo.

Ron served as a Corporal in the United State Marine Corps, and was the Manager of SAC, Inc.  He was affiliated with the Bedford United Methodist Church, and enjoyed golf, basketball, the Green Bay Packers, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Jeff Welsch officiating.  Friends will be received on Saturday, from 2:00 p.m., until the hour of the service at the funeral home.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Ron’s name to: Bedford United Methodist Church Ministries, 132 E.
