Ronald Lee Judy

Ronald Lee Judy, 83, of Bedford died on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on March 21, 1941 in Bedford a son of the late Foster L. and Mildred E. (Wilson) Judy. He is survived by two sisters: Nancy J. Stern widow of William of Winchester, VA; and Shirley J. Judy of Bedford; three nephews:  Charles William Stern and wife Marcie; David Lee Stern and wife Rebecca; Timothy Daniel Stern and wife Samantha all of Winchester, VA; and the following great nieces and nephews:  Jennifer Swanson, Braden Stern, Sarah E. Stern, Carson Stern, and Addalynne Stern.

Ronald graduated from Bedford High School in 1959.  He served with the Army during Vietnam and received a purple heart when he was injured at the Bien Hoa Air Base. After he recovered from his injuries he worked in the Oil Fields in Texas.  He was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, and the Bedford VFW Post #7527.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., at Bedford County Memorial Park, with military honors conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.  Arrangements by Timothy A.
