Ronald W. Defibaugh

Ronald W. Defibaugh, 75, of, Jamestown, OH, formerly of Bedford, went to be with our lord on February 27, 2015, at Norton Hospital, in Louisville, KY with his loving wife Mary at his side. He was born on December 5, 1939, in Bedford, a son of the late and C. Harold and Mabel R. (Hershberger ) Defibaugh. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Cress) Defibaugh of Jamestown, OH, a son, Dick Defibaugh and wife Becky of Ft. Mill, SC, a son, Tim Defibaugh and wife Lisa of Dayton, OH, a daughter, Melanie Twehues and husband Paul of Dripping Springs, TX,  a daughter, Kelly Defibaugh of Mt. Pleasant, SC, a son, Brett Defibaugh and wife Ashley, of Xenia, OH, a daughter, Leslie Duckworth of Jeffersonville, OH, and a son, Shaun Duckworth of Jamestown, OH; 13 grandchildren:  Adam, Micah, Tyler, Brittany, and Madison Defibaugh, Ryan Freeze, Stacey Luneke, Chelsea Twehues, Anthony Addeo, Shawna Belcher, Mandy Knerr, Kassidi Peyton, and Chase Duckworth; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Gary L. Defibaugh, and wife Vicky, and Barry L. Defibaugh and wife Star, both of Bedford;  a sister, Sharon L. Burtnett and husband Kenneth of Bedford, many nieces and nephews, and ex-wife, Carolyn (Burtnett) Defibaugh.

Ron was a lifelong trucker with Allied Carriers retiring in 2002.  He enjoyed life, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be private.  Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. Those wishing can make memorial contributions to a charity of your choice. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
