Ronald W. Bingham, 67, of Bedford, died Monday, January 30, 2017, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. He was born on October 27, 1949, in Cessna, a son of the late Robert and Romaine (Evans) Bingham. He is survived by a daughter, Wendy Bingham, of North Pole, AK, a son, Ronald Bingham Jr. and wife Analyn, of North Pole, AK, a son Mitch Bingham, of Tampa, FL, a son, Quinn Bingham and wife Kimberly, of Swisher, IA, a son, Dustin Bingham, of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Bethany Bingham and wife Lesita, of Bedford, 15 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren, a brother, Donald Bingham and wife Laura, of Bedford, a sister, Dixie Bingham of Biloxi, MS and a brother Robert Bingham, of Everett, He was preceded in death by a sister, Joann.
Ronald was a graduate of Bedford High School, and an Army Veteran that served during the Vietnam War. He worked at Cannondale for many years and also enjoyed farming, being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and his passion was demonstrated by the two motorcycles he proudly rebuilt and rode. He was also a member and past commander of the Bedford American Legion Post # 113.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Pastor Dan Oldham officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard. Friends will be received on Monday, from 2 - 4 at the funeral home.
