Rodger W. Mack, 71, of Bedford, died Wednesday, October 2, 2024. He was born on September 3, 1953, in Johnstown, a son of the late William C. and Alice Caroline (Michaels) Mack. On June 24, 1978, in Hollsopple, he married Shelby J. (Keim) Mack who survives along with four children: April Elliott and husband Nathan, of Bedford, Justin Mack and wife Lindsay, of Warrenton, VA, Philip Mack and fiancée Johnna Burns, of Hyndman, and Caleb Mack, of Bedford; three grandchildren: Asher, Jaylyn, and Tinley Mack; and two siblings: Leona Saylor widow of Frank, of Davidsville, and Don Mack and wife Bonnie, of Hernando, FL. He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Kniss.
Rodger was a 1972 graduate of Central Cambria High School and was employed for over 43 years at Kennametal in Bedford. He enjoyed bicycling, gardening, camping, and spending time with his family. He was a member and former deacon of Pennwood Bible Church, in Everett.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Floyd Rinehart officiating.
