Robert G. Yetter, 85, of Victoria Avenue, Everett, died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born on September 2, 1928, in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Harry and Evelyn (Leach) ______. On May 1, 1954, in Winchester, VA, he married Ona May (Leydig) Yetter, and shared 50 years of marriage, before her passing on November 4, 2003. He is survived by the following family: a daughter Kimberly wife of Mark Hepner of Bedford, three sons: Chris Yetter of Palmyra, Gregory Yetter of St. Louis, MO, and Scott Yetter, married to the former Judy Pratt of Fayetteville; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a brother Larry Yetter and wife Dee of San Diego, CA.
Mr. Yetter worked for United Telephone Company of Pennsylvania for over 40 years. He was a member of the Bedford American Legion Post #113, and the Bedford VFW Post #1082.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Doug Friant officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park, with full military rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
