Robert A. McGee, 58, of Bedford Valley Road, Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at his residence after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by his family. He was born May 16, 1950 in Boston, Mass, son of the late Paul and Ruth (Bradford) McGee. He was formerly married to Barbara McKinnies who survives along with four children: Sheila Cappadona of Bedford Valley, Dennis R. Dull of Boston, Mass, Karen Moreland and partner Rodney Hilliard and Debra Dull both of Bedford Valley. ten grandchildren: and the following brothers and sisters: Danny McGee, Paul McGee, Claire wife of Scott Winslow, Diane Slomjowski and partner Jim D’Amore, Chrissy Ridder all of Holbrook, Mass., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.
Mr. McGee was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post 18 of Dedham, Mass
Funeral Services: Friday, 10:00 AM. at the Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Father Donald Dusza officiating. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
