Robert “Sonny” Morgart Jr., 82, of Everett, formerly of Bedford, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Pennknoll Village Nursing Home. He was born on April 19, 1929, in Bedford a son, of the late Robert and Eddena (Miller) Morgart Sr. He is survived by a sister, Charlotte widow of Ralph Stickler of Hagerstown, MD, a brother, Richard L. Morgart of Bedford, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Hedstrom and was a member of Bedford VFW Post #7527. In his younger days he enjoyed playing fast pitch softball in the summer.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bedford County Memorial Park with full Military Rites conducted by the Fort Bedford Honor Guard.
