Robert Eugene "Bobby" Moreland

Robert Eugene “Bobby” Moreland, born July 28, 1973, passed away on October 16, 2026 shortly after a prognosis of an aggressive cancer.

Bobby found joy in life’s simple pleasures, from spending time outdoors and fishing to cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. He treasured laughter, companionship, and special moments he shared with his friends and family. Above all, his daughter, Megan, was the light of his life, holding a place in his heart that was beyond measure. The love he had for her was a precious part of who he was.

Bobby worked in the construction field. He was always happy to dig, build and construct, working outside and seeing projects through to completion. His strength and persistence were hard to match, making him a valuable component to any project he participated in.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Sue (Blouse) Ness; his brother, Brian Blouse, and Brian’s partner, Tanya; and his beloved daughter, Megan Shoenfelt, and her wife, Tapanga Shoenfelt. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Clyde Moreland, and his stepmother, Ruth Ann Ritchey.

May Robert’s memory live on in the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the cherished moments that made his life meaningful. May those who loved him find comfort in the memories they hold and in knowing that his love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family.
