Richard A. Schade

Richard A. Schade 93, of Bedford, died Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard.  He was born on July 20, 1930 in Cumberland, MD a son of the late Adolf R. and Edith (Ferguson) Schade.  On August 11, 1951 in Cumberland he married Rose E. (Lyons) Schade who survives along with the following family: a daughter Deborah Ann Yarnell widow of Perry, of Fishertown; two grandchildren: Jason R. Yarnell and wife Jennifer, of Lovely, and Ashley B. Hite and husband Carl, of Fishertown; four great-grandchildren: Hailey, Jacob, Allyson, and Brody; and a sister Wilda Brooks.  He was preceded in death by four siblings: Robert Schade, Pauline Perkins, Pearl Schade, and Gracine Golden.

Richard drove for Interstate and Wilson Trucking, before becoming self-employed.  He enjoyed traveling.
