Richard M. “Mike” Pencil, 67, of Clearville, died Friday, December 26, 2014. He was born on January 12, 1947, a son of the late R. Carl, and Clare (Clapper) Pencil. He is survived by a son, Robert Michael Pencil, and wife, Bryn, of Macungie; two sisters, Susan Waugerman, wife of Gary, and Carla Koontz, and companion Delbert Davis, both of Bedford; six nephews and one niece: Scott, Steve, Marcy, Brad, Jeff, Josh, and Kasey; and eight great-nieces & great-nephews.
Mr. Pencil was a graduate of Penn State University, and a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper, an avid outdoorsman, and a member of numerous fraternal organizations. Mike enjoyed spending time with friends in Calabash, NC, and attending the Church of the Lost and Found.
A Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
