Richard A. Koch, 52, of Oakview Road, Bedford died Friday, October 23, 2015. He was born on May 19, 1963, in Lebanon County, a son of the late Charles and Phyllis (Poorman) Koch. On April 4, 2008, in Bedford, he married Angela (Williams) Koch, who survives along with three sons: Zethan D. Koch, special friend Jessica Weigand, of Bedford, Austin P. Koch, fiancée Shanan Barnard, of Bellville, and Thomas C. Koch, of Bedford; two step daughters: Rachel L. Williams, and special friend Dustin Ickes, and Alison T. Williams, both of Bedford; a brother: Charles “Chuck” Koch and wife Cindy, of Altoona, step-mother Barbara Koch, of Altoona, brother-in-law, Josh Williams, of Buffalo Mills, and sister-in-law Theresa Murin, and husband Cory, of Hyndman; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Richard was a Registered Pharmacist working for Giant Eagle, CVS, and was currently working at Rite Aid. He enjoyed hunting, target shooting, reloading, and collecting guns. He was a member of the Everett Bow & Gun Club, and loved his cartoons, and his dog Mossy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Rev. Richard Whetstone, officiating.
