Raymond A. Rugh

Raymond Allen Rugh, 68, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on February 19, 2015 at his home. He was born October 31, 1946, in Bainbridge, GA, a son of the late Charles H. and Laverne (Parker Potts) Rugh. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bailey Rugh; children, Jason Rugh and wife Christy, and Denise Duncan; 4 grandchildren, Joshua Calhoun, Nicole Nyahay, Haily Sue Oswald, and Jett Rugh; a sister, Carol wife of Tom Mickle; sister–in–law, Carol Jean Rugh, extended family, and countless friends.  He was preceded in death by two daughters: Stephanie Jo Scalla and Michelle Nyahay, and a brother, Robert Charles Rugh.

Ray was raised in Bedford, and graduated from Bedford High School in 1965.  He retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, working in the Camp Hill / Harrisburg area, before moving to Florida 7 years ago. Ray enjoyed playing golf, traveling, telling jokes, and always amusing his friends and family with his sense of humor.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 3:00 p.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A.
