Ray C. Blair, 98, of Bedford, died on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at his residence. He was born on December 20, 1927 in Everett, a son of the late Janet (Bookheimer) Pensyl. On October 3, 1958 in Cumberland, MD, he married Grace (Tew) Blair and she survives along with three sons: Barry A. Blair of Bedford, Terry E. Blair and wife Emma of Bedford, and Randy L. Blair of Cumberland Valley; three grandchildren: Ray, Kristy and husband Brad, and Jailee and husband Charlie; ten great-grandchildren: Collin, Timothy, Larna, Kaitlyn, Paton, Landon, Layla, Quinn, Hunter, and Autumn; one great-great-grandson: Kaysen; and a sister, Mary Jane Lohr and husband John of Bedford. He was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Roberts.

Ray served in the U.S Army during the Korean Conflict and later worked in the shipping department at Hedstrom, retiring in 1990. He attended Everett Church of God and was a great hunter, and his favorite seasons were archery and spring gobbler.
