Randy Lee Batzel

Randy Lee Batzel 59, of Bedford went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his home.  He was born on March 8, 1962 in Bedford, a son of the late Thomas R. Batzel and Lorraine (Border) and Cloyd Batzel.  On September 22, 2001 he married Mary Batzel who survives along with the following family: a daughter Julia Reffner, a daughter Shayna Batzel and companion Thomas Wylie, and a son Matthew Batzel; all of Bedford; a grandson Braylen Pettit; two sisters: Deb Rose, of Everett and Audrey Baughman, of Georgia; three brothers: Clyde Batzel and wife Edna, of Bedford, Russel Rhodes and wife Betty, of Florida, and Dale Batzel and wife Kelly, of Bedford; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother Rick Border.

Randy was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed attending Bedford Bison Wrestling matches.  He also enjoyed fishing and hunting when he was able.  Randy loved spending time with his children and grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Jim Miller officiating.  Friends will be received on Wednesday, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
