Ralph E. Bowman

Ralph E. Bowman 60, of Altoona, died Friday, February 14, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.  He was born on June 25, 1959 in Plattsburgh, NY a son of George S. Bowman who survives of Bedford, and the late Beverly A. (Reed) Bowman.  In addition to his father he is survived by a brother, George D. Bowman and wife Diane of Belsano; a sister, Margaret Bowen, of Grayson, GA; a niece Renee Laughard and husband Michael, and a nephew, Michael Bowman and wife Renee; numerous great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Ralph was a truck driver working most recently for Dart and privately hauling cars.  He was a member of the Furry Fandom Friends (Furries) group, and enjoyed working with computers and repairing grandfather clocks.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford with Jim Miller officiating.  Burial at Fishertown Cemetery.  Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.  Our online guestbook is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
