Priscilla “Priss” L. Seager, 70, of Elwood Road, Bedford, died on Monday, December 31, 2012 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 24, 1942, in Keyser, WV, a daughter of the late Maurice L. and Edith (Umstot) Amtower. On September 4, 1964, in Cumberland, MD, she married Edward E. Seager who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Heather L. Seager of Asheville, NC, and a son, Erick E. Seager married to the former Christine Gampe of Bedford; two grandchildren: Erick Robert, and Allison Kai; and a sister, Dr. Michelle L. Amtower of Asheville, NC. She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas E. Amtower, USN.
Priscilla was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the church choir, and a graduate of Catherman’s Business School, in Cumberland, Md. She was also a former member of the Dutch Corner Choir, worked as a secretary for Seager, Seager, Webb, and enjoyed singing, animals, the outdoors, and was an avid West Virginia University fan.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, with Pastor Raymond E. Short officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 1-4 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.
