Priscilla L. Seager

Priscilla “Priss” L. Seager, 70, of Elwood Road, Bedford, died on Monday, December 31, 2012 at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 24, 1942, in Keyser, WV, a daughter of the late Maurice L. and Edith (Umstot) Amtower. On September 4, 1964, in Cumberland, MD, she married Edward E. Seager who survives along with the following family: a daughter, Heather L. Seager of Asheville, NC, and a son, Erick E. Seager married to the former Christine Gampe of Bedford; two grandchildren: Erick Robert, and Allison Kai; and a sister, Dr. Michelle L. Amtower of Asheville, NC.  She was preceded in death by a brother Thomas E. Amtower, USN.

Priscilla was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the church choir, and a graduate of Catherman’s Business School, in Cumberland, Md.   She was also a former member of the Dutch Corner Choir, worked as a secretary for Seager, Seager, Webb, and enjoyed singing, animals, the outdoors, and was an avid West Virginia University fan.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 4:00 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church, in Bedford, with Pastor Raymond E. Short officiating. Friends will be received on Saturday, from 1-4 p.m. at the church. Arrangements by the Timothy A.
