Phyllis D. Swanson, 83, of Lakewood, NY, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, at her family’s residence in Bedford, where she resided for the past six months.
The wife of the late Daniel C. Swanson, she was the proud mother of three: Nancy Kuhfuss, wife of Charles Kuhfuss, of Rochester, NY; Martha Mereen, wife of Thomas Mereen of Bedford; and Daniel Swanson, married to the former Bonnie Carlson, of Lakewood, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Jennifer Blakeslee, of Albany, NY; Laura Kuhfuss of Rochester, NY; Kathryn and Christa Mereen of Bedford; and Elizabeth and Daniel Swanson of Lakewood, NY.
Services will be at a later date in Falconer, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice or Special Olympics of Bedford County. Arrangements by Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
