Phyllis L. Shade-Taylor

Phyllis L. Shade-Taylor, 65 of Allegheny Road, Manns Choice, died Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Altoona Hospital. She was born December, 18, 1945 in Colerain TWP, daughter of the late Robert B. and Evelyn C. (Stiffler) Young. She was married to Truster U. Shade and he preceded her in death on January 30, 1998. She is survived by four children; Janet D. Shade, Ernest W. Shade, Truster U. Shade Jr., and Evelyn V. Shade, all of Bedford. Also surviving is Leighton “Lee” Taylor and his children; Leighton R. Taylor of Manns Choice, Leonard D. Taylor of Bedford, Denise Pineda of Manns Choice, three grandchildren, and a brother Jesse Young of Centerville. She was preceded in death by a brother Ralph Young.
Phyllis was affiliated with St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society.
Memorial services: Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Rev. Paul Claycomb officiating.
