Peter J. Kensicki

Peter J. Kensicki 87, of Cumberland Valley, died Monday, December 2, 2024.  He was born on December 20, 1936 in Dillonvale, OH a son of the late Pete J. and Ruth (Pearson) Kensicki.  He was preceded in death by his wife Dr. Nancy Evans Kensicki, and a sister Nancy Couldren.  He is survived by three children: Wayne Kensicki and wife Coleen, of Bedford; Linda Jean Kenix and wife Jenniefer, of Christ Church, New Zealand; and Diana Kensicki Fleet widow of Wes, of Bedford; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.  Peter was a diehard Washington Redskins fan, as well as Ohio State football and Washington Nationals.  He enjoyed fishing and traveling around the world with his wife.  Peter was a member of the National Bass Association for the Deaf, and the Maryland Association for the Deaf.

Funeral services will be private.  Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford.  In lieu of flowers those wishing may make contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
