Peter J. "Pete" Innes

Peter J. “Pete” Innes, 80, of Fishertown, died on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Pennknoll Village. He was born on September 3, 1945 in Deckerville, MI, a son of the late Colin Innes Sr. and Anne (Gestrich) Innes. On June 19, 1990 in Toledo, OH, he married Judith A. (Hunter) Innes and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2017. He is survived by two children: Jordon M. Innes and Sheila L. Innes, both of Deckerville, MI; two step-sons: Joe Price and wife Debra of Sebring, FL, and Scott Price and wife Rodonna of Bedford; a step-daughter: Michelle Speicher and husband Tony of New Baltimore; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; a sister: Bonnie Elsholz and husband Harlow of Applegate, MI; and a brother; Colin Innes Jr. and wife Linda of Boulder, CO. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanne Trent.

Pete drove truck and was a long-distance car hauler and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and was a member and former Commander of both the Bedford VFW Post #7527 and the American Legion Post #113, and a former member of the Fort Bedford Honor Guard and Sgt. Of the Guard.
