Peggy R. Phillips

Peggy R. Phillips, 60, of Barclay Drive, Bedford, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Johnstown. She was born on February 26, 1953, in Cumberland, MD the daughter of the late Jack and Billie (Shetrom) Reynolds. On June 30, 1978, in Bedford, she married Michael L. Phillips who survives along with two children: a son, Kelley Phillips and wife Jessica of Harrisonville, a daughter, Brigetta Pieper and husband Rob of Chicago, IL, six grandchildren; Shyla, Chloe, Skylar, Liesl, Wilhemina, and Soren, two brothers, Patrick Reynolds and wife Luann of Pensacola, FL, and Michael Reynolds and wife Mary of Austin, TX.
Peggy was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church where she taught CCD and worked as a secretary for 24 years in the church office. She enjoyed reading and writing and making jewelry.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 19, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the St Thomas Catholic Church, in Bedford, with Father Donald Dusza celebrant. Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park. Friends will be received on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford.
