Peggy Ann (Lesh) Grimm

Peggy Ann Grimm 79, of Everett, died on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at UPMC Bedford Hospital. She was born on July 2, 1944 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian (White) Lesh. On November 13, 1965, in Hagerstown, MD she married William L. “Bill” Grimm who preceded her in death on May 11, 2014.  She is survived by a son Roger W.  Grimm and wife Valerie of Bedford; one granddaughter Lesha Kegg and husband Adam of Bedford; two great-grandchildren:  Anniston and Arlo and a fiancé Ed Steele of Everett.  She was preceded in death by one granddaughter Selah, one sister Jean Wyles and one brother Kenny Lesh.

Peggy was a 1962 graduate of Bedford High School.  She worked at a few places that included the Shoe Factory, Post House and her brother Kenny’s concession stand during the Fair.  She was a former member of the GWRRA and the Goldwing Riders and was a current member of the Fort Bedford Auto Club.  She enjoyed traveling and taking Bollman Charter trips. She had visited all 50 states.  She also enjoyed dining out with friends and family, riding motorcycles, going to music events and dancing.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford with Pastor Daniel P. Diehl officiating.  Burial at Bedford County Memorial Park.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Peggy’s name to the Bedford County Humane Society, 182 Bohn Road, Bedford, PA  15522.    Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
