Paul M. Shaffer

Paul M. Shaffer 63, of Bedford, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at his home.  He was born on March 13, 1960 in Bedford, a son of the late Harry M. and Regina T. (Axmacher) Shaffer.  He is survived by a son Stu Shaffer, of Bedford; two sisters: Tria L. Doonan and husband Joel, of Leander, TX, and Luan Bremerman and husband Bill, of Milligans Cove; and four nieces and nephews: Lesley, Marty, and Billy Bremerman, and Eden Doonan.  He was preceded in death by two brothers: John and Kelly Shaffer.

Paul had a passion for farming, taking care of his family farm his entire life.  He was a lifelong recycler of anything, and eventually started Shaffer’s Recycling.  Paul loved to hunt and socialize with friends and family.  He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson all over the U.S., especially the Midwest and Wind River.
