Paul L. Ressler, 79, of, Bedford, died Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Carrol's Rest Home. He was born on February 16, 1934, in Rainsburg, the son of the late Frank and Irma P (Amick) Ressler. He is survived by two sons: James Ressler and wife Ellen of Fair Oaks CA, and Robert Ressler and wife Theresa of Shermans Dale, three daughters:, Debora McFall of Kingwood,TX, Tamera Chandler and companion Michael Savoy of Flagstaff, AZ, and Bonnie Cannon and husband Kenneth of Vero Beach, FL, 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a brother, Clyde Ressler and wife Betty of Bedford, He was preceded in death by three sisters: Dorothy Greenawalt, Mae Ruth Dennis, and Cleva Cornell, and five brothers Harold Holsinger, Ellis, James, William and Harold Ressler, four infant brothers and sisters: Joseph, Lois, Eleanor and Boy.
Paul was retired from Eastern Trucking Company and Ressler’s Exxon and Towing. Throughout his life he enjoyed woodworking and made furniture for family and friends. Even after retiring from Ressler’s Towing, he enjoyed going to the garage several days a week to hang out with his friends and help out when needed.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral in Bedford with Rev. Curtis Bryant officiating. Burial at Woods Church Cemetery. Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Our online guest book is available at www.berkebilefuneralhome.com.
