Paul E. Beamer

Paul E. Beamer 52 of Cardinal Road, New Paris, died Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at his home.  He was born May 24, 1954 in Bedford, son of the late John Edmond and Katharine (Robinson) Beamer.  On April 24, 1982 in Bedford he married Louise Erskine and she survives along with two children: Amy Elizabeth and Alexander Edmond Beamer both of Bedford, a granddaughter Sidney Marie Beamer and three brothers: Robert M. Beamer and companion Helen Reed of Great Falls, VA, Christopher C. Beamer of Hawaii, James W. Beamer and wife Cheryl of Fairfax, VA and a sister Elizabeth Ann Beamer and partner Carla Criss of Westminster, MD, his Mother-in-Law: Mary L. Erskine who resided with them and numerous cousins.  He was preceded in death by a step-brother John E.

Paul was the owner and operator of Comtec Installations and was active in the community as a Board Member for the Bedford Fair Association, the Bedford Speedway, as a score keeper for Chestnut Ridge athletics, the electrician for the Fall Foliage Festival, and worked with the Pitt Theater and the former Moon-lite drive in.  Paul was a great husband and father and friend to all.
