Patty L. Novatny

Patty L. Novatny, 73, of Park Place Road, Loysburg, died Saturday, January 31, 2015, at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on March 8, 1941, in Roaring Spring, a daughter of the late Harry and Beulah (Duvall) Notestine. On February 28, 1994, in Winchester, VA, she married Joseph Novatny, who survives along with the following family: Todd England, married to the former, Janine L. Fink, of New Enterprise; and Chris S. England, married to the former Tammy M. Brady, of Alpharetta, GA; three grandchildren: Garret C., Sarah E., and Amelia M. England; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband Gary L. England; four brothers: Harry, Rex, Fred and David Notestine; and two sisters: Jane and Nancy.
Patty graduated from Saxton-Liberty High School, and worked at the former Bedford Springs Hotel. Patty and Joe enjoyed setting up their booth at the flea markets in Springs, PA, and watching the hummingbirds out of her window. She loved helping people in need and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her.
