Patricia W. Work, 49, of S. Bedford, St., Bedford, died Monday, May 9, 2011 at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh. She was born May 12, 1961 in Arlington, VA, daughter of Florence M. (Lewis) Wever of Bedford, and the late Richard D. Wever. She is survived by a son Jay Work Jr., of Haymarket, VA, a grandson Ari Work of Sarasota, FL, two sisters; Terry Hanley and fiancé Ed Scutt of Springfield, VA, Dianne, wife of Benjamin Cummings of Spencer, WV, and a brother Richard D. Wever and wife Evelyn of Warrenton, VA, six nieces and nephews; Theresa, Lee, Catie, James, Max and Jake.
Patricia was an incredible care giver for the elderly, and formerly worked in Washington DC, with the Chief Lobbyist of the Ways and Means Committee.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford, with Rev. Doug Friant officiating.
