Patricia Louise Suggars

Patricia Louise Suggars, 96, of Bedford, went home to Jesus, her living Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 8, 2026 at Bedford Colonial Courtyard, 10 days after celebrating her 96th birthday with her family. She was born on April 27, 1930 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Lorraine A. and Helen (Evans) Stepp. She was the beloved wife of Albert A. Suggars, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1983. She is survived by three children: Candice L. Suggars of Charleston, SC, Lawrence L. Suggars and wife Patti of Salt Lake City, UT, and Cynthia A. Yetter of Bedford; seven grandchildren: Karen, Spencer, Chelsea, Alix, Taylor, Matthew, and Crista; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Gary F. Suggars and two brothers, Jack and Wesley Stepp.

Patty was a member of the Bedford Presbyterian Church and the manager at Dollar General. She loved baking, painting, and rescuing animals. Patty was adored by her children, extra generous and loved with all of her heart, and feisty and spirited all the way to the finish line. She is irreplaceable, and greatly loved.
