Patricia (Neal) Kohler

Patricia Kohler, 96, of Bedford, died on Monday, June 23, 2025 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on September 13, 1928 in Sharon, a daughter of the late Frederick Z. and Ethel (McCoy) Neal. On November 23, 1950 she married John F. Kohler and he preceded her in death on May 21, 1997. She is survived by a daughter, Susan M. Wingard and husband, Greg of Windber; four sons: David M. and significant other Linda of Scranton, James C. and wife Lorri of Manns Choice, Regis Kohler and wife Ida of Port Matilda, and Fred N. and wife Lisa of Manns Choice; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, John Kohler, a daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Claycomb, a brother, James, and five sisters, Bernice, Betty, Mary Louise, Zita, and Barb.

Patricia was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, where she was active with the Catholic Daughters. She was a Registered Nurse and worked for both Mercy Hospital and Good Samaritan.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Bedford, with Father Richard Tomkosky, Celebrant. Burial at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery will be private. Friends will be received one hour prior to the service at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home in Bedford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
