Patricia (Freund) Hoppe

Patricia L. Hoppe, 73 of Bedford died on June 15, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital. She was born on September 27, 1943, in Baltimore, a daughter of the late Adam J. and Eva (Schlesinger) Freund. She is survived by a son, Chris Hoppe married to the former Beth Engbert  of Burgettstown;  two step-daughters, Mary Ann Hoppe, of Baltimore, and  Michelle Holsinger  and husband Bobby, of Monrovia, MD;  a granddaughter, Avery and a step-grandson Carter; three sisters, Ada Williams of Fleeton, VA, Carol Clark of Baltimore, MD, Lois Hett of Baltimore, MD; three brothers, Adam and Ronald Freund both of Uma, AZ, and Donald Freund of Boise, ID; and a special friend, Annette Taylor and husband Bill of Bedford.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Dennis Freund.

Patricia worked at the Bedford American Legion. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel, at the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford, with Deacon Thom Beavers officiating.  Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
